Publications

The Early Head Start National Resource Center produces a series of publications to support EHS programs in their effort to design and implement high quality services to pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers. Additional copies of these publications may be ordered through the Head Start Information and Publications Center by calling 703-683-2878 or faxing your request to 703-683-5769.

Videotapes

  • Families Speak: The Early Head Start Experience is now available on video! The EHS NRC is pleased to offer the videotape Families Speak: The Early Head Start Experience. This powerful video profiles four families and the impact that Early Head Start has had on their lives. The 40-minute tape was featured during a luncheon plenary at the Fifth Annual Head Start and Child Care Birth To Three Institute in Washington, D.C. The tape is priced to cover duplication and shipping and handling. Please allow ten business days for delivery.

    Families Speak Video Order Form

  • The EHS NRC develops satellite television training events which are broadcast on the HeadsUp! Network, the satellite network of the National Head Start Association. The 90-minute videotapes from these broadcasts are for sale. Each videotape comes with a master set of resource materials to support participant learning. The tapes are priced to cover the expenses for the duplication of the tapes, the master set of supplemental materials, and shipping and handling. Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery.

Audiotapes

  • The EHS NRC conducts three national audioconferences each year as a part of its Distance Education events. An audioconference is a telephone conference call which features expert faculty and EHS program representatives on select topics related to EHS program services. Participants are able to listen to discussion among the panelists, and can pose questions for the speakers over the telephone. The audiotapes of the audioconferences are for sale. Each tape comes with a master set of resource materials to support participant learning. The tapes are priced to cover the expenses for the duplication of the tapes, the master set of supplemental materials, and shipping nd handling. Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery.
