Regional Training and Technical Assistance Quality Improvement Centers
The Head Start program has an extensive Technical Assistance system. Each
geographic region has Quality Improvement Centers which provide training
and technical assistance support to Head Start and Early Head Start programs
as they serve children with disabilities (DSQIC) and Quality Improvement
Centers which provides training and technical assistance support in all
other areas of program and administrative services of Head Start (HSQIC).
Each HSQIC and DSQIC has Infant/Toddler Specialists who can provide valuable
technical assistance on EHS and infant and toddler programming. Contact the
HSQIC and DSQIC in your area to identify the Infant/Toddler Specialist in
your region.
