Abstract
Sore nipples can occur when breastfed baby is not positioned correctly to latch–on to breasts. Pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised to try different breastfeeding positions and breastfeed more frequently during shorter periods of time to relieve soreness in breasts. Additional information is provided on how to prevent and treat sore nipples. (Available in English and Spanish).
