Abstract
Learn about breastfeeding during pregnancy and discuss your plans to breastfeed with family members and healthcare providers. Staff and pregnant and breastfeeding women receive useful information on how to begin breastfeeding in the hospital. Avoid giving a breastfed infant formula and pacifiers during the first weeks of breastfeeding. In addition, pregnant and breastfeeding women learn what to expect during initial feedings. (Available in English and Spanish).
