Abstract
The nutrients contained in colostrum (mother's first milk) provide a new baby with nourishment and protection from illnesses during the first week of life. Staff and pregnant and breastfeeding mothers learn about the appearance of colostrum and mature breastmilk. In addition, helpful information on milk supply and baby's growth spurts are given. (Available in English and Vietnamese).
