Abstract
Learn about what steps to take for initiating breastfeeding both during pregnancy and after birth. Staff and pregnant and breastfeeding women receive information on how to inform healthcare provider(s) about decision to breastfeed and requesting assistance with breastfeeding. The “Baby–Friendly” guidelines designed for hospitals to promote and support breastfeeding is described. (In English and Spanish).
