Abstract
Consider several possible ways to discuss your intention to breastfeed after returning to work with your employer by providing the benefits of breastfeeding for your baby, yourself, and the employer. Pregnant and breastfeeding women receive guidance on how to approach their employers about accommodations (i.e., flexible work schedule, private space to express breastmilk, and refrigerator) for breastfeeding.
