A new national center for the reduction of infant mortality announced its opening in Baltimore, MD. The center was established by the SIDS Alliance with
funding from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Health Resources and Service Administration. The center seeks to enhance community-based
family-centered efforts to reduce the risk of infant death and provide bereavement services for affected families. The center is seeking private and public
organizations to partner in their efforts to reach these goals. Individuals or organizations in the maternal and child health field are needed to work with the
